Each child receives practical coaching on the Gospel, Catholicism, and the value of the sacraments in our lives.
While your kids are learning, parents experience a refreshing prayer experience and workshop on how to help their kids grow in faith.
What is taught in person is experienced as a family at home! You'll feel more connected to one another and to Christ through these activities.
It has been decided in our Diocese to lower the Confirmation age to children in 4th grade. To learn more about this development, check out the link below!
"We are grateful for this positive change in family catechesis, as it greatly helps us to guide and answer our children's questions and concerns. At the same time, our children and we, as parents, learn about our faith and what it truly means to be Catholic. This helps us to live as God commands and to share His message with our family, who have drifted away from Him."

"We are so very thankful for the SPSJOA Family Catechesis program. The teachers for our 2nd grade twins (and last year as 1st graders) have been incredible; our kids look forward to going to "religion class". We as parents very much appreciate the adult-focused curriculum that Conall and Jen present during the in-person classes. My wife and I have learned so much about our faith and also some great reminders on our parenting strategies from those classes. Also, we love the at-home lessons as it gives us a platform to easily show our kids that their parents are actively involved in growing our faith along side of them. I've shared this program with friends of ours that run religion ed classes in Western Ohio and they were very impressed / plan to incorporate elements in their program."
